Kannada television actor Nandini CM was found dead at her paying guest accommodation in the Kengeri area of Bengaluru, prompting police to initiate an investigation. Authorities confirmed that an Unnatural Death Report has been registered, and inquiries are underway to determine the sequence of events leading to her death.
The incident is believed to have occurred during the night, with information reaching the police in the morning. Officials stated that initial examination did not indicate any immediate signs of external involvement, though all aspects are being carefully reviewed as part of standard procedure.
Nandini CM had worked in several Kannada and Tamil television serials and was gradually establishing herself in the regional entertainment industry. She had earlier pursued an engineering course before choosing to focus on acting full-time and had been residing in Bengaluru to support her professional commitments.
During the investigation, police recovered personal writings that may provide insight into the challenges she was facing. These materials are being examined to understand possible emotional or personal stressors, while officials have refrained from drawing conclusions at this stage.
Members of the television fraternity and viewers have expressed condolences, renewing discussions around mental well-being and the pressures faced by young artists in competitive creative fields.
